Thoroughly Modern Card

This card was made for a new acquaintance of ours, who just graduated from high school.  I know its not the traditional graduation card, but oh well!

The base is Chocolate Chip, followed by layers of Thoroughly Modern DSP and Taken with Teal.  The Spellbinders Fleur-de-Lis Pendant die was cut from Rose Red, and the Nestabilites Scallop Square is from Very Vanilla.  The stamp is from Say It With Scriptures (SU).

Finishing touches are Prima Flowers and pearls.

Thanks for looking!

Tri Fold Green Tea Card

This tri-fold card was made with some Certainly Celery cardstock, and Green Tea DSP from Stampin Up.

I accented the insert with a faint background (sorry- you can't see it very well) made with a swirl stamp (can't remember the name), Versamark and chalks.

I used Nestabilitied Scallop dies to make the little emblem on the front, then added some cutouts from the Fleur-de-Lis pendant (Spellbinders) to accent.

Thanks for looking!

2-Step Bird Punch Tulips

I am so inspired by everyone's tulip creations made with the wing of the 2-Step Bird Punch (SU), that I had to make some of my own.   I made several of these and left the inside blank so that I can use them for whatever occasion I need...I happened to have a friend who had a birthday this week, so this card was what she got...I hope she enjoys it.

I must confess that almost everything on this card is from the scrap drawer, except the base which is Certainly Celery (SU).  I use Nestabilities Oval and Scallop Oval for the center of the card, then embossed the white piece with Cuttlebug's Damask folder.

The butterfly and the white scalloped borders are both Marth Stewart punches.

Happy Spring and have a great day!

Vintage Vogue Birthday

Here is a Happy Birthday card that I made using the Vintage Vogue set from Stampin' Up.   The card base is Certainly Celery, with Whisper White and Perfect Plum layers.   The flowers are stamped with Perfect Plum, Rich Razzleberry and Always Artichoke.   I also used Happy Everything (SU) for the sentiment...for some reason, I never seem to get this sentiment straight...I guess I need to stop being lazy and use my Stamp-a-ma-Jig.

The little leaves are from the 2-step Bird Punch (SU), and some of the flowers are double-layered and popped with dimensionals.  The front is sponged with Rich Razzleberry.

Thanks for looking- have an amazing day!
